Australian school communications app, SkoolBag, part of the EdTech Group, has integrated with My School Connect, a multifaceted, online management tool for cashless payments.
The integration combines two leading technology platforms for schools to simplify cashless transactions and communications all in one app.
EdTech Group Managing Director, Adam Jacobs says the integration is one of many exciting developments in store for SkoolBag.
“The integration between SkoolBag and My School Connect enables schools and parents to place canteen orders, uniform orders and to purchase event tickets from within the SkoolBag app,” Mr Jacobs says.
“This is one of many new and exciting integrations that SkoolBag is rolling out to bring added value to our clients.
“The synergy of the two platforms means that SkoolBag is growing from an industry-leading communications app to a sophisticated engine.”
“Parents won’t need to download or set up anything new. All the great features are seamlessly incorporated into their existing SkoolBag app.”
Founder and CEO My School Connect Roberto Rossi says the integration with SkoolBag allows both companies to offer a more simplified and comprehensive digital solution to schools.
“We’re thrilled to be working with the team at SkoolBag to provide schools and parents with our multifaceted online management tool, coupled with SkoolBag’s industry-leading communications app,” Mr Rossi says.
“Both teams have been working together to develop the streamlined access for parents via the SkoolBag app to ensure the set-up and user experience are second to none.” Combined, the two companies serve over 1,600 schools Australia-wide.
